The brief

Bloom Cafe is an independent coffee shop and brunch spot with a loyal local following but almost no online presence. The owner, Priya, came to us after noticing that customers kept saying they couldn't find the cafe's opening hours or menu online. She needed a website that looked as warm and welcoming as the cafe itself.

The challenge

Priya had tried a DIY website builder a year earlier and abandoned it halfway through. it looked nothing like her brand and she couldn't figure out how to update the menu. The new site had to be easy enough for her to manage herself after handoff, while still being fast, accessible, and optimised for local search.

We also had a short timeline: the cafe was launching a new seasonal menu and wanted the site live in time to announce it.

Our solution

We built a custom five-page website on a lightweight CMS so Priya could update the menu, hours, and event listings without touching code. The design drew from the cafe's existing colour palette and brand photography, creating a warm, editorial feel that matched the in-store experience.

We integrated an OpenTable booking widget for table reservations and set up a Google Business Profile, adding structured data markup to maximise local search visibility. Every page was built to load in under two seconds on mobile, where most of Priya's customers are searching.

We delivered a 30-minute training session on handoff day so Priya felt confident managing the site on her own from day one.

The results

Within 90 days of launch, Bloom Cafe's Google search impressions had risen by 280% and the site was ranking on page one for "brunch cafe [local area]". a keyword Priya had never previously appeared for. Online booking accounted for 40% of weekend covers by month three.

Glow Skincare

Online revenue (vs. previous store)
+61%
Conversion rate improvement

-34%
Cart abandonment rate

The brief

Glow Skincare is a D2C brand selling a curated range of clean beauty products. They had an existing Shopify store. but it was built on a generic theme, looked cluttered, and wasn't converting. The founder, Amara, knew her products were excellent; she needed a store that reflected that quality and made buying effortless.

The challenge

The existing store had three separate issues pulling down conversion: a confusing product page layout that buried the key purchase information, a checkout flow with too many steps and friction points, and product photography that wasn't optimised for web. Amara also wanted to introduce a subscription model for her best-selling serum. something her current theme couldn't support.

Our solution

We built a custom Shopify theme from scratch, designed around Glow's brand identity: soft neutrals, generous whitespace, and large-format product imagery. Product pages were restructured to lead with social proof (reviews, star ratings, "as seen in" logos) and bring the add-to-cart button above the fold on mobile.

We integrated Recharge for subscriptions, giving customers the option of a 10% discount on monthly deliveries. A sticky cart drawer replaced the separate cart page, cutting two steps from the checkout journey. We also implemented automatic image optimisation across all product assets.

Post-launch, we ran a two-week A/B test on the hero section of the homepage and rolled in the winning variant. increasing click-through to product pages by a further 18%.

The results

Within the first quarter after launch, Glow's online revenue had grown 3.2x compared to the equivalent period on the old store. Cart abandonment dropped by 34%, and the subscription product alone now accounts for 28% of monthly recurring revenue. Amara described it as "the best investment we've made in the business."

Vitality Wellness

App
-60%
Client no-show rate

4.8★
App store rating

The brief

Vitality Wellness is a multi-practitioner wellness studio offering physiotherapy, massage, and yoga. Founder James was spending over 15 hours a week managing bookings by email and phone. and despite sending manual reminder texts, no-shows were running at around 30%. He needed a digital booking system that clients would actually use.

The challenge

James had trialled two off-the-shelf booking platforms and found them either too complex for his clients (many of whom were older) or too limited to support multi-practitioner scheduling with different session types and durations. He needed something built to fit his studio's exact workflow. not the other way around.

The app also needed to handle prepayment via Stripe, send automated SMS reminders, and give each practitioner their own schedule view. all within a tight budget.

Our solution

We built a cross-platform React Native app for clients paired with a web-based admin dashboard for the Vitality team. The client-facing booking flow was designed to be completable in under 90 seconds. practitioner selection, session type, time slot, and payment in four taps.

Automated SMS and push reminders fire at 48 hours and 2 hours before each appointment, with a one-tap reschedule option that feeds directly back into the availability calendar. Stripe handles all payments, and a no-show fee is automatically charged when clients cancel within the 24-hour window.

The admin dashboard gives James and his team a unified view of all practitioner schedules, a client history log, and a revenue summary. cutting the time spent on admin from 15 hours a week to under two.

The results

Within six weeks of launch, the no-show rate had fallen from 30% to 12%. a 60% reduction. James estimates the time savings alone paid back the cost of the project within the first month. The app has a 4.8-star rating across iOS and Android, with clients regularly calling out how easy it is to use. Vitality has since taken on two new practitioners, supported by the extra capacity freed up by the new system.
